Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy applies to Vanderline Projects, provided by Avantime Consulting India Private Limited ("we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. No refunds

All fees are non-refundable. We do not give refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, unused or removed seats, downgrades, or for stopping use of the Service. This applies to monthly and annual payments alike.

Changing your plan: an upgrade (more users, or monthly to annual) takes effect immediately and is charged pro-rata for the rest of the current period; a downgrade (fewer users, or annual to monthly) takes effect at the next renewal and is not refunded.

There are only two exceptions:

  • A duplicate charge, or an amount charged in error by our billing system. We refund it in full to the original payment method. Razorpay usually returns the money within 5 to 7 working days after we confirm the error. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
  • Where Indian law requires a refund.

To report a charge you think is wrong, email support@vanderline.com from an administrator's address with the invoice number and what went wrong.

2. Free trial

A new organization gets a 7-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund. During the trial the organization can have up to 4 users, 1 project and 1 client account. If the trial ends without a paid plan, the workspace becomes read-only (section 4).

3. Cancelling

  • An administrator can cancel at any time from the Billing page (Billing in the app's sidebar, then Cancel subscription under Subscription). There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals.
  • The subscription stays active, with full access, until the end of the period already paid for. Cancelling does not produce a refund for that period.
  • A one-time payment for a month or a year does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel: it simply runs to the end of its period.

4. After the paid period ends: read-only

The organization keeps access, but read-only:

  • people can sign in and view their data, and download or export existing records where the Service offers it (for example task lists, timesheets and reports);
  • nobody can make any changes: no creating, editing, deleting, sending, approving or importing, and no automated reminders, digests or other scheduled jobs;
  • administrators can still open the Billing page.

5. Coming back

Subscribing again from the Billing page restores full access to all existing data immediately.

6. Your data is kept

We keep the organization's data while the workspace is read-only. An administrator may ask us to delete it by writing to support@vanderline.com. We delete it within 30 days, and backups roll off within 90 days. We keep only records the law requires us to keep, such as our own invoices and payment records for the period tax law requires.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we retry it and email the billing contacts. The workspace keeps full access for a grace period of 7 days. If the payment is still not made after that, the workspace becomes read-only (section 4). Paying at any point restores full access immediately.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us first if you have a problem with a charge. If a chargeback is raised for a fee that is non-refundable under this policy, the workspace may become read-only while the chargeback is resolved.

9. Price changes

We give administrators at least 30 days' notice of a price change by email. A new price applies from your next renewal, never during a period you have already paid for.

10. Enterprise and custom work

Enterprise or custom work agreed under a separate order follows that order's payment terms. Everything else is covered by this policy.

11. Contact
